Terms and conditions

1. POLICY
Our marketing policy is one of continuous product development. We therefore reserve the right to alter specifications and prices without notice. All orders are accepted subject to these terms and conditions of sale unless otherwise specified and agreed in writing by Inter County Office Furniture.


2. PRICES

Prices relate to products supplied as stated and published on our website, and are exclusive of VAT which will be invoiced at the rate ruling at the time of despatch. It is a condition of acceptance of orders that goods are invoiced at prices ruling at the date of despatch.


3. PAYMENT

Payment for goods is strictly with order. In the event of late payment Inter County Office Furniture Office, reserves the right to charge interest on overdue amounts at 4% above the Bank of England base rate.  Our terms are stricktly net 14 days for educational customers with credit account facilities.


4. OWNERSHIP
Ownership shall not pass to the purchaser until Inter County Office Furniture receives payment in full for any goods or services rendered.


5. RISK

Risk of loss or damage to the goods shall pass to the purchaser at the time of delivery. Where goods are lost, damaged or destroyed and ownership has yet to pass, the purchaser will indemnify a Inter County Office Furniture against any loss incurred by it provided such loss damage or destruction does not result from the negligence of Inter County Office Furniture.


6. DIMENSIONS

All measurements quoted in our publications are nominal and terms used are those accepted by the trade.


7. DELIVERY

All deliveries are as stated on our site to mainland UK only. No liability in respect of damage will be accepted unless written notification is received by us within 24 hours of receipt of the goods at the delivery address. We reserve the right to make a charge for excessive waiting time or for weekend deliveries please contact us for delivery details. Orders placed before 12.00 will be processed and delivered by the delivery stated, unless situation arises out of our control.

9. OUR REFUNDS AND RETURNS POLICY
9.1 You may choose to return a Product for any reason provided that: -
9.1.1 you notify us by email of your desire to return the Product within 14 days (or if longer 7 working days) of receipt of the Products; and
9.1.2 the Product is in resalable condition - it needs to still be in its original unopened packaging unmarked.
9.2 Please note that you will not have any right to cancel a Contract for the supply of any of the following Products and we cannot accept returns of the following Products unless they are defective:-
9.2.1 any Products which have been made to your specification such as screens and special size furniture;
9.3 If the terms of condition 9.1 apply then we will contact you with a returns number and we will arrange for collection at our cost. Once the Products are back at our warehouse and we have had an opportunity to inspect them to check that they are in resalable conditions then we process the refund in respect of the price of the Product, including any delivery charges as soon as possible and in any case within 14 days of us receiving the Product in our warehouse. You have a legal obligation to take reasonable care of the Products while they are in your possession. If you fail to comply with this obligation, we may have a right of action against you for compensation.
9.3.1 All products supplied as ordered will be subject to a 35% restocking fee
9.4 If you contact us outside of the 14 day period and the Products are not defective then we may at our discretion accept a return of the Products, however you may not receive a full credit in respect of the price you paid for the Products [and your refund may be by way of a credit note].
9.5 If you consider there to be a shortage in your order please contact us within 14 days of receipt of your order so that we can rectify your order appropriately.
9.6 If you consider a Product to be defective, damaged please contact us as soon as possible after receipt of your Products. We will then contact you with a returns number and we will arrange for collection at our cost. Once the Products are back at our warehouse and we have had an opportunity to inspect them we will notify you of your refund via e-mail within a reasonable period of time. We will usually process the refund due to you as soon as possible and, in any case, within 30 days of the day we confirmed to you via e-mail that you were entitled to a refund for the defective Product. Products returned by you because of a defect will be refunded in full, including a refund of the delivery charges for sending the item to you.
9.7 We will usually refund any money received from you using the same method originally used by you to pay for your purchase.


10. CANCELLATIONS

10.1 Cancellations will only be accepted if Inter County Office Furniture receives written notice at least 7 working days prior to the delivery date. We reserve the right to recover the full cost of materials obtained specifically for the order, and for work done prior to the cancellation notice. We reserve the right to cancel orders and refund where orders cannot be fulfil for any reason.

11. PRODUCT GUARANTEE
All our products (unless otherwise stated) carry a 3 year normal wear and tear guarantee, which covers any possible design or manufacturing defects. This guarantee is in addition to any statutory rights that may apply.
